Napoleon did not press the pursuit. Sebottendorf lost 2, men and 15 guns. Beaulieu fell back past Mantua throwing 20 of his best battalions into the fortress and behind the Mincio River. This brought the garrison of Mantua up to 13, men.

Beaulieu now had 31, troops in all under his command.
